Natalie was simply fantastic! Never before has my hair been described by my friends as a work of art, and that's thanks to Natalie. She spent time before my wedding making sure I found the style that was right for me, and had a real skill of creating styles exactly as I had asked. On the day of my wedding, she had a calm but friendly approach, and brought a team of people to make sure everyone who neeed hair and makeup were ready in plenty of time without feeling rushed. Natalie was utterly wonderful to work with and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Despite being nearly 8 months pregnant on my wedding day, Natalie's expertise made me look and feel radiant for the entire day. Our trial was great fun too, it was a great opportunity to experiment with make up and hair styles.  Natalie is so easy going, she is reliable, punctual, incredibly talented and has a lovely calm manner; I was nothing but confident and relaxed with her, which is surely what every woman wants on her wedding day!

Natalie was amazing! She did my hair & make up for myself and a friend for our Year 11 prom and prior to that she did myself and my sister for my aunty's wedding. She really listens to what you want and gives an honest opinion of what suits you as well. I've had her do my hair & make up twice and each time I looked completely different suited to my occasion. Everyone said my hair and make up looked amazing at prom and Natalie brought so much kit with her the possibilites were endless. We settled on very dark lips and smokey eyes with the obvious foundation and coverage and I can only imagine doing it myself for such a big day and it ending up in disaster! If it's a special occasion, you should make an extra effort, and when you do you should do it right. I would definitely recommend Natalie!

Natalie was my hairdresser when I got married in September 2010, and I can't recommend her highly enough. She really listened to what I wanted, got it right first time at the rehearsal, and was really calm and helpful on the day of the wedding. She even managed to get my three year old niece to sit still and have her hair curled! Natalie's really talented, and lovely too.

Natalie did my wedding hair in October 2010 and she was amazing! She came to my house for a trial & was very helpful. On the Wedding day, she met me at my hotel and completely put me at ease. I was so pleased with the results! One of my bridesmaids also got their hair done by Natalie & loved it! I found her easy to talk to & listened to everything i wanted. ABOUT ME


I am a full-time professional freelance makeup artist and hair stylist living in London and working wherever my job takes me!

After completing two degrees at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand (BA Religious Studies, BSc Psychology) I finally decided what I wanted to do - become a makeup artist! A slightly unusual route into makeup artistry, admittedly, but I learnt many important things at university that are so applicable to my business and my clients today.

I gained qualifications in Makeup Artistry, Hair Styling and Special Effects at the Cut Above Academy in Auckland, NZ. Following that I worked in television for Alt TV music channel, worked on commercials and music videos, did some work for the BBC and at New Zealand Fashion Week amongst other things, before relocating to London in 2009. 

Today, I provide artistic hair and makeup styling (and some gorey effects!), to the fashion and film industries working on feature films, music videos, television commercials, fashion events and photo shoots - every day brings something new.

I love the film-y/fashion-y part of my job, but I also really love working with real women, and am a volunteer educator for Look Good... Feel Better, the beauty industry's charity, which helps women combat the visible side effects of cancer by providing workshops on beauty, skin care and makeup. Another favourite part of my job is working with brides! Creating the perfect hair and makeup look for each bride's big day is exciting, and I always feel very lucky, getting to be a part of such a happy loved-up day! As a bride-to-be myself, I know how stressful it can be organising a wedding, so I like to pamper my brides - make them feel special and remind them that the wedding day is about them and their husbands, not the seating plan or flower arrangements!

A little bit of random: I like baking delicious cakey treats for my friends and fiance. I like big fat rain drops, curling up on the couch with a cup of tea and a good book, painting my nails bright colours, singing at the top of my voice whilst driving, films that make me cry, fruity cocktails, dancing & my dog. I'm a softy and will get teary-eyed at almost anything, I'm totally in love with my man and I can never say no to salt & vinegar crisps or pick & mix sweets.
